Got the short block together yesterday. Anyone know how to get the screen in the pump? Heres a couple before and a couple afters.....

I got the rest of the bottom end pretty much done today.  The oil pump pick up was a royal pain. All painted up and rarin to go. Does this color look correct? It looks a little too greenish to me. I was going to use the older metallic blue but Hammer talked me out of it.  Maybe it the lights in the garage.

What is the red paint and what is it for?  (Never mind, Just read back on the other pages, haha)  Looks like you are doing a great job.

Dude! Homegrown porting is the bomb! And you look like a pro at it. Have you run it on a flow bench to calculate the numbers? Looks impressive, as does the rest of your engine. Can't wait to see more when she's all buttoned up and makin' music!
