CLOCK SPRING
« on: July 13, 2014, 11:05:09 PM »
okay so we did the rack and pinion on the DD impala. 2010. one of our buddies comes by and goes hey look how fast i can spin the wheel! spins it like the damn wheel of fortune. and wouldnt you know it...cruise...all steering buttons. dont work. so mad because we were just about to sell the car and now we gotta wait for a clock spring to come in. so beware...i dont know what years of cars have clock springs or when they started but if you mess with any car probably after 81. dont let some idiot spin your wheel not knowing what he could mess up
i always seem to have the perfect amount of tools! unless i have to work on something...

Pretty sure anything with an airbag has a clock spring.
