I'm always amazed at how nice some shots on wet roads turn out -- despite the fact that a wet road will WRECK a good detail job on a car in a hurry.

So a while back I knuckled under and shot one of my car in our driveway -- wetted the drive down just for the effect...

Rick,
Am I missing something here? Maybe you should have used more water.

Yeah, those pavers are sealed and they are individual little blocks of concrete, so water won't stand on them at all.  They just look a little darker than they do dry.

I found a pic that shows the "line" where I stopped spraying the water -- the lighter color in the background is the dry area.

Yeah, I loved the rain picture as well. I drive the car probably more than most people (around 1,500 miles a year) and a little water never hurt anybody ;) Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go out of my way to drive it in the rain. It happens, so I made the best of it at the time!

One of the few times I wish the car had a heater/defroster.
