Oops, sorry. 

I admire the international guys for dealing with the aspect of finding parts.  An Oz guy had said he can get a few things, everything else cost a little more with shipping from the states.

Thanks yeah i was considering getting the 1 inch drop performance springs but i think it makes more sense to go with the stock spring so i can get the exact stance i want, then i don't have to order them from a parts catelog

crazy your tring to raise your car while iam lowering it lol but nice work i know that changing the coils takes some time and can be dangerous but it looks good  :) just a lil to high for me

Yep. And if you keep a notebook with all the mods, you can mark down how much you cut the springs so that the next time you have to do it you can replace them exactly the same :)

I've got one 3 ring binder with receipts and another with reference photos for my 78. Plan on doing the same for the 80.

I like stock springs too, thats why i change them. When i got my car nose was too low for my eyes.

Yeah im def going with the stock springs, Brian was right its hard to go back once you cut them, but i wanna say ill only end up going an inch lower in the front

I allways do with photoshop a pic to look what every modification looks. Thats easy way to see is it better or not. When i did picture with the stock springs it looks much better so that why i lift front up.
Does anybody know how long is oil dipstick tube that part what is outside of engine? And how long is oil dipstick? Just wonder are mine right for my engine at all.

I didnt like the hieght of my springs so I cut them. I cut 1 1/2 coils off and it dropped the front end about 3 1/2 inches. I drove it around and bounced up and down on the front end before measuring the distance. Its not too stiff or too bouncy. I think stock hieght is way to high. It almost seems like it handles better and feels even less top heavy in turns. Now that I got these 15x7 snowflakes on with 255x60r15 all the way around it looks even better. Before I had these crapy 205x70r15.they didnt fill in very nice.

Well it depends or if you have ac or no ac. if you have AC then your oil dipstick will be two pieces, otherwise it will only be one piece.  they stink to put in you have to take the oil pan off to put it in.

I got AC and just hit inside engine that oil dipstick tube. Sounds like its not right one then.

Last week i change oil and put 5l oil to engine. Oil level was too high and there where no even enough oil in engine. That why i wonder that stick maybe its not right one.

Kyllä toi tikun putki näytti kuvassa ihan oikealta, se kaksiosainen putki taitaa olla Pontiac-koneiden ominaisuus. Koneeseenhan taitaa mennä se 5 quarttia öljyä eli n. 4,7 litraa suodattimen kanssa. Eli viidellä litralla pitäisikin näyttää vähän yli.

Niinkuin tuossa yllä joku jo taisi mainitakin niin se putken sovite on melko tiukka ja jos sen saa asennuksen jälkeen siitä lohkon juuresta poikki, niin sisälle jäävän nysän pois ottaminen voi olla melkoinen savotta.

4,7 l. myös Olds. Ilman suodattimen vaihtoa pitäisi mennä vain 4 quarttia, eli melko pienet on tilavuudet.

Missä päin tää muuten liikkuu? Mä oon itse Mynämäeltä, Turun nurkista, ja mulla on ite ollut työn alla samaa vuosikertaa oleva 403 t-toppi. Liikenteessä taas ensi suvena jos löytyy sen verran aikaa että saan taka-akselin taas niputettua.
