I'm Dave from Connecticut. I've been a forum member since last July, but have not posted much because the car has had to take a back seat for a while. I have had my 'bird for almost a year, and i've finally got it registered and on the road! I'm getting divorced soon, so money is really going to be tight now (lost my garage to keep her in to boot!), but i've decided to try and keep the car as long as I can, and work on getting stuff for it as my budget allows. It looks like this will be a continuing work in progress!!

CT Bird Fan,

Welcome to 78ta and we most certainly would like you to post more often.  Have you put up some pics of your ride yet?  We'd love to see it!

What part of CT?  My wife is from the Vernon area and she has family scattered about.  A sistern in Union, a brother in Coventry and her mom just moved, I can't remember exactly where at the moment.

i want to change it out but someone mentioned to me that you could pour something in there to stop the leak!!!

I tried that "pour something in there" and it didn't work for me and may have caused other problems.  I'd just recommend caution on the "quick fix".

Nice ride Eddie, appreciate the pics.
