Welcome David...I'd love to see some pix....why don't you start a thread in the photo section? ;D

Pics will be coming, right now there is not much to look at, other than a paint job on the body that looks a foot deep.  And that doesn't translate well in pictures.  Body, doors, and truck deck have been painted, hood and front fenders were being prepped yesterday, so maybe we'll see some real progress in the next few days.

And thanks for the welcome posts!  I'm looking forward to sending pics and swapping posts.

David.

Welcome David to the 78ta family.  Glad to have you aboard and like Jeff suggests, post up some pics of that poncho, we'd love to see it!

Seriously, you going to be around Saturday night or Sunday?  I think I could swing by the Marriott and shake your hand.  It's 15 minutes from the house if it's the one I think it is.  PM me if you think you'll have some time, I'll bring the TA with me.  Also, there's a show Saturday night that my club puts on not far from there.  That's another option as well if your not busy.  Like I said, PM if your interested.

Again, welcome to the site.

Thanks Rich, check your PM's.

OK, here's a pic before the restoration started.  Which seems like an eternity ago.

Welcome Jeff to 78ta!  Glad to have you on board.

Has anyone mentioned that we love pics no matter what the car looks like?  Just thought I'd mention it just in case. :)

David, got your PM, will probably call tomorrow night 9/12/07.

OK, OK, man ya'll are tough on a newbie!   :o  Check the photo section under Murdock's Trans Am photos.  I'm still learning how to navigate this site and post photos, and some of my pics were too large to post, so I'll keep working at it.  Anyway, they had the car wrapped in plastic to do some touch up painting on the dash, so I left it wrapped.  I uncovered the engine, but the site wouldn't let me post the pictures, so I'll work on that some more.  I'll update the pics as work progresses.

Murdock.
