What was you favorite movie in HS.
« on: December 24, 2012, 07:59:34 AM »
For me, it was Fast Times at Ridgemont High." First he's gonna $hit then He's gonna kill us"..... " my old man is a Television repairman with the ultimate set of tools....I can fix it"  Too damn funny!  But why couldn't it be a TA in the movie.........That's OK at least it is an F body.  Wasn't the car driven by the guy as the song played "Somebody's Baby Tonight" and where she said "Nice car" a TA though{

Fast Times was a great movie. Phoebe Cates....wow, when I was about ten years old I saw that and never forgot it. One of my other favorites from that era is the Blues Brothers. Good movie and a lot of good old blues musicians in that one. Interesting trivia note on that movie....the first guy to jump on the table at the end of the movie, when they are playing in prison, is Joe Walsh.

Mad Max (Last of the V8's)
Road Warrior (The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla!)
Warriors (More gangmembers than I could count)
Wanderers (Wanderers vs The Baldies)
Airplane (Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue)
Caddyshack (You don't have to go to college. This isn't Russia. Is this Russia? This isn't Russia)

 Yeah........it was  8) Nice memory as for me........Once again Fast Times at Ridgemont High was my fav. movie.  That explains that.  Yeah, directors said she was all too eager to take her clothes off.  What ever happened to the movies with simple nudity and humor anyway.........now all you get for an R rating are violent themed movies ....NO wonder society is killing one another off. ..........sorry I digress.

Nice list man....Mad Max, Warriors,.Airplane.......Especially Heavy Metal.............how could I  forget that one..........oh never mind that should be obvious.

Something tells me you  watched Bevies and Butthead I think the Heavy Metal, Airplane and Cassyshake gave it away if you did.
