No way. That's the downside of "it's your car do whatever you want". Want to make any bets whether or not it will sell? I bet it gets zero bids.
-
It looks like a trans am clown car, its terrible. Anybody see the interior??
-
Well... I don't think it's one of those things where the car is supposed to be the focus... it's the canvas for the "artist" in this case... the car is a tribute to John Travolta's acting career... the interior is obviously Urban Cowboy... It's just art in my opinion... and most abstract interpretive type art... i don't really care much for. That being said... I wonder if some of the new Bandit interior was inspired by the rustic interior of this TA???

Ehhh...you all can say what you want, but that console looks vaguely obscene and unsettling. :-\ :P
-
Being a George Barris custom, I would think that it would always be worth something.
More, after he dies.
Just the way things are.
Not that I would buy it, as I want other Trans Ams alittle bit more.
OK, alot more.
But, if I did have/own it, I would leave it alone.

I'm a huge fan of Barris, but this car sucks

hahaha... i wasn't saying I liked it... just that it wasn't meant to be real functional...

Ahhh, the smell of COW. vin # is 1971 Espirit, with over 20,000 produced.
Who ever buy's it though would be doing the economy a favor, This car alone
would put hertz, flea and tick powder employee's on at least a six day work week.

Now there is something you don't see every day.....

Unless you live next door to Barris ;D

Oh my..

Here here!
Im a fan too, but thats just down right ugly, it reminds me of an option that Ford UK did for some of their cars around the same time....
They were called the X pack cars and where avaliable as an expensive option.
-
The A-Team called and wanted their rims back!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH ;D
-
Check out the bidders.....I smell something bad...beside the car.
-
I had one of the model kits way back when. Of coarse it was a little too...ahhh..."not that there's anything wrong with that" for me so I painted it differently and left the decals off.
-
It's really rare for me to say that I don't care for a TA. This is that exception. I'm not digging this one at all!
-
not that bad of a car.....
-
its different- but i think they ruined a good 71-
i mean they could have used a 79- that had t tops already-and the areo nose ect...
i wonder if they just cut the dash panel out and put it in a 79-81 model car?
neat but crappy at the same time- there are a LOT of travolta fans too lol
-oh im new here - cool forum- great cars here as well--- jason
