1979 Trans Am Hardtop - $12,000
Location: Rochester, MN

I've owned this car for almost 11 years now.  I've always had the intention of putting time and money into it to make improvements but I honestly never found the time to do the things I wanted to do.  So for the past 10 years I’ve driven it on the occasional Sunday or to a local car show.  Now that I'm married and in the market for a new home it's time to give someone else the opportunity.  Below is a list of things that have been done to it over the past 10 years other than small repairs and maintenance.

List of Repairs:

2016:
New gas tank
2008:
New timing chain
2005:
Rebuilt transmission (Inspected, cleaned and overhauled by a professional shop)
Rebuilt Carburetors

List of issues:

• The transmission leaks transmission fluid.
• The car could use some new weatherstripping
• There are dings and scratches on the driver side door and front fender
• There are scratches on the driver side rear quarter panel
• The driver side door hinge sags a little bit.  Door still opens and closes fine
• There’s a small paint chip on the passenger side rear quarter panel
• The previous owner had someone replace the stock 2:41 rear differential gears with 3:73 gears.  They work fine but the speedometer is off because of it.
• The previous owner had also removed the air conditioning system
