You're going to miss out Homer!

Heck I'll be bringing the newborn (and all associated/required/whatnot accessories) for the show. And trying to judge to boot!

Which reminds me...who was bringing the wine again? I may need a glass at the end of that weekend ;)

Ok folks, I got an E-mail from Tom Smith reguarding this years show and its got a great surprise. This year looks to be another show to remember. If you book your room at the Fairfield inn before March 31, you will recieve a $5 discount off of the already reduced room rate. If you dont get booked before then, you still have until June 1 to get the regular reduced rate.
.

** Friday July 6, 2012 at 5pm, the All Firebird Cruise leaves SPA State Park with Police Escort to Saratoga PBA Grove and Hall.  $10 donation includes Cruise with Police Escort and private projector showing of Smokey and the Bandit.  Crazy Herb's BBQ will attend with his complete al-a-carte menu and FNONA will hold a 50-50 raffle.  When everyone orders whatever food, beverage, and snacks they want from Crazy Herb, we will show Smokey and the Bandit inside the air conditioned Banquet Room and project the movie onto an entire large white wall!  Cost of the Cruise is a $10 Donation per carload and includes SSPD Police Escort, Cruise, and the Movie.  50-50 raffle and Crazy Herbs offerings available to everyone at additional cost.
.
Also HPP did an great article on the show,

If you liked the magazine story, you are sure to like the online story.  The editor liked the speedway picture by FNONA member Steve Manning enough to make it the centerfold feature!  The Red, White, and Blue 1st generation Firebirds being lead by the speedway pace truck looks great.  All of the magazine story is included in the online edition and contains all of the magazine color pictures with captions including Firebirds on the Albany-Saratoga Speedway, field shots near the big top and other group photos, a great shot of the FNONA member club cars along the grand stand, single photos of cars owned by Larry Michael, Chris Ek, Tom Martens, Debbie and Bill Hall, Vinny Hayes, and John Bianco.

There are a lot of posts here.  I am excited!  The TA is just sitting in the garage waiting to get out there and cruise.  How many are going down Thursday night for the tailgate party?  I am comtemplating it.  I had a blast last year.

JohnA I think your homemade hootch might have been the hit of the party last year.  I guess I'll put my reservation in early!

Dave,

If there isn't you're welcome to join Laura, Tyler and I up. Right around exit 48A (Pembroke) on the 90 heading East. I'll more than likely be driving the Tundra up again as there's simply no way I'm fitting luggage, crib, stroller, and baby into the TA. And trust me, I'm disappointed on that as I was looking forward to bringing the car this year.

PM me as we get closer as I may just head up Friday and leave Sat after judging - not sure yet on the finance part.

**BTW it's a good stopping point as you'll be about half way into your trip - about 4 hours give or take.
