I am not a big Ford fan either, but I did once own an 82 Mercury Capri with a straight six and factory sun roof and that car was fun and economical.  It was my daily driver when I was in my early twenties and I bought it for a couple hundred bucks.

Got it insured and plated today, it's a fun little car. I'll prolly drive it as is this winter, definately getting a new top and some door panels but nothing it doesn't absolutely need.

Not sure if you mean drive it in snow, but I would not recommend it.
I drove an 84 GT through one Cleveland winter and it was not alot of fun to say the least.

i really like the 5.0 fox body's, they were all over the place when i was in high school.  i sold a 85gt with t tops with built engine  350hp, 5spd, 3.55 rear pozi, the works this past spring.  only car i wished i had back, got 5500 for it though.  was a real nice car.  they are fun to drive but a lot of them were driven hard back in the day.

Here's the '84 I had when I was 17.  Gotta have t-tops!
This was a sweet car - I can't tell you how much... ahh, never mind.

My friend has a 1970 Muststang 351 sb that he restored years ago.  Mettalic blue, black interior with the Ford Rally wheels.  It sits in his garage with a car cover and junk on it and has not moved in 10 or so years.  I know it is a Ford, but it is a very pretty car and it makes me sad every time I see it just sitting there covered by crap.

:/ Yes, driving it this winter was kinda the plan.. but now that I've driven it I don't want to get rid of it (maybe need a 3rd vehicle?)lol
Folzinal those ttops make me jealous..
Oreobadr, not too sure, it's not stock but not sure on the specifics, I'm thinking of running the numbers on the engine cuz I'm thinking it may not be the original (ran into a couple suprises).
Burd Turd, that's pretty awesome, my grandpa has one of the first Harley trucks built. I think it has maybe 1500 miles on it now.

picked this up last week as it was too good of a price to pass it up.  Needs a paint job and  a good cleaning.  Its a 89 GT with I'm assuming a Saleen body kit.  I actually think it has too much power if there is such a thing  :)

Nice looking car, mine has a saleen spoiler on it with a newer GT body kit except for the front bumper. If I ever paint it I'll get a different bumper but for now it looks alright.

Been many moons since I had to sell my supercharged LX hatchback and my notchback....I see the 86 nose, 88-up GT skirts, and 91-up pony wheels. If title says 86, then probably is. Easiest way to tell inside is the instrument cluster...86-earlier had the individual gauges (87-up had one cluster behind a plastic lens). The tail lights on the 86-older had yellow turn signals and white reverse while 97-up had smoked turn/reverse light lense. The rear fascia on an 87-up had "mustang" molded into the lower center...not so on 86-older.

86 was first year of fuel injection...and true dual exhaust (one of the best sounding IMO)
