1994 TA 25th Anniversary which one should I buy?
« on: August 16, 2008, 11:37:34 AM »
OK Guys.....
I'm at a Crossroad...Which path would to take? I have two cars that I can
                   buy....both 25ths...One is a Convertible...$$16100.00  23,000 Miles or
                   a T-top car. $8500.00  43,000  Miles   1750 of the coupes...250 of the Converts..
I am really at an impasse with this.....Rare one of 250 or rare but not as rare $8500.00
I've been going back and forth on this....opinions?

Personally, I would go for the T-tops.  But a rare car is nice to have.  No help huh?  ;) 8)

I personally would go with the convertible IF I had the funds to do so.   They will always be worth more money and at only 250 made, that means your chances to buy one are far and fewer in between.    Thats my answer. ;D

Personally I would go with what ever one your going to drive and enjoy, the word rare is over used on cars these days.

I had both versions of the 2002 WS6 blackbird and the coupe was more to my taste, the vert seemed a little girly for some reason.

I agree. For me, the lower production numbers and miles for the convertible are attractive but, I don't care for convertibles so I'd enjoy the t-top more. I'd buy the t-top.

it is up too you,but for the price differance buy the t-top,the convert is rare but you might not want to drive it as much because of the rarity of it.

I pressed my "Easy button" and decided that you should buy BOTH cars. It's the best of both worlds. The cool thing is that both will appreciate in value and you can sell the one that you don't like the most.  ;D

I think the answer may be more in how you intend to use said vehicle.  If you're looking for an investment, then go with the convertible and keep the miles off of it.  If you're planning to drive it quite a bit but still like the collectibility of the anniversary version, then buy the T-Top car but still try to be prudent with the mileage.

So, the ball is back in your court!!

I would buy the T-top, there isnt that much in the of a difference in rarity. They made 338 hardtop, 1412 T-Top and 250 Convertibles, out of about 13,000 TA that year. I personally dont see a huge difference in price in yeras to come.
