11:00am-5:00pm Indian Adventures Test and Tune Friday begins!
6:00pm-11:00pm VMP Street Wars & PY Pontiacs in the Park Chicago Style Shootout. Free for all Pontiac event participants


Saturday May 19, 2007

8:00am Gates open
8:00am-11:00am Car show registration and parking
10:00am Begin time runs (Run order: Heavy, AllPontiac Super Pro, Street)
11:00am-2:30pm Car show judging
12:45pm & 3:45pm Exhibition cars, Butler Fast 4 and Ken’s Quick 16 qualifying.
1:30pm Begin Eliminations
3:00pm Car show awards
4:30pm Car show fun runs begin.


Sunday May 20, 2007

8:00am Gates open
8:00am Car show and shine parking
10:00am Start engines and begin time trails. (Run order: Street, AllPontiac Super Pro, Heavy)
11:45am Exhibition cars, Final Butler Fast 4 and Kens Quick 16 qualifying
1:00pm Opening ceremonies
1:15pm Eliminations begins. Run order: Butler Fast 4, Ken’s Quick 16, Street, Heavy , AllPontiac Super Pro.
3:00pm Exhibition cars
After Final Round Goodyear Racing Tires King Pontiac.

Race Classes and Rules


Butler Performance Fast 4: Heads-up, .400 pro tree. Pontiac powered doorslammer only. Any power adder, any trans, no minimum weight, "Run what ya brung."

Entrants must attempt at least 2 of 3 qualifying sessions
Entrants may also compete in Saturday's bracket racing program
There will be an alternate list in case one or more qualifiers can't make the 1st round


Ken's Speed and Machine Quick 16: .500 handicap tree. Pontiac powered vehicles only. Any power adder, any trans, no minimum weight.

AllPontiac.com Super Pro: 0.00-11.99. Pontiac bodied or powered vehicles only. .500 tree, dial-in bracket racing. Electronics permitted.

Heavy: 9.00-14.99. Pontiac bodied or powered vehicles only. .500 tree, dial-in bracket racing. NO electronics. No transbrake. No 2-step or air/electric shifters.

Street: 12.00-slower. .500 tree, dial-in bracket racing. DOT legal tires, closed exhaust, car should appear stock.

All vehicles must pass NHRA technical inspection. Participants may compete in other classes but must purchase additional race entry for additional class entered.

Crosstalk will be in use for Super Pro

How close is this one to you Rich? Have you been there in past years?

I've never been to it, my local TA club goes every year.  I might go this year depending on the bird.  I think it's about 1.5 hours away from me.

Mike(fb rider) and I are considering coming down there with the birds and checking this out since no Bandit run. Its a 3 hour drive, but possible.

Mike(fb rider) and I are considering coming down there with the birds and checking this out since no Bandit run. Its a 3 hour drive, but possible.  

Tell you what, if you guys go, even if my bird isn't ready I may go ahead and come up to meet you guys.  Keep me posted.
