71 Formula Deck Lid Spoiler on car, but not on PHS docs??
« on: July 28, 2008, 07:22:02 PM »
I know that it would be easy to add a spoiler on any car.  I am curious if the spoiler on a car is original or not.  The PHS docs list all of the option codes, and 572 "Deck Lid Spoiler" is not on the list.  Would I have to find the build sheet to confirm the originality of the spoiler?

Thanks,

Yes.  Not everything is listed on the PHS, only some of the more important options and additions.  So, the build sheet would tell you for sure if your car came with it or not.

Wouldn't a rear spoiler be standard equipment on a Formula?

Thanks Scotti  ...you're right. I just did a little digging and found the D80 rear spoiler was optional on the Formula, standard on the T/A, and a dealer installed option for others. I was being lazy last night  :-[ :D
