I made it..... in the '79 T/A.   Cruised over the Smokies to Cherokee/Robbinsville and went across the Dragon on Friday evening.   Didn't get out much Friday night.... it was cold.   Ate at the IHOP.

Saturday evening was spent in front of the Texas Roadhouse.... in front of my buddy's '71 Duster.

My boss and his wife were on vacation last week near the mountains of Ten. On thier way home they went thru Pigeon Forge and got caught in the car show cruise. He said it took them 5 hours to drive 12 miles because the 4 lane road was completely packed with hot rods. He thought it was kinda cool for about the first 1/2 hour, but after 5 hours of that they had had enough. I told him to check the car show schedules before they vacation again so they don't get caught like that.

I have some pics but not any Trans Ams.........   
I ordered this pic of us on The Dragon  from Killboy.com  or US129Photos.com .    They have photographers stationed on US 129, aka "The Dragon".  It's 318 AWESOME curves in an 11 mile stretch.   Motor Enthusiasts come from all over the world to run this stretch of road.
This is cruising in 4th gear about 25 mph..... nice day for a cruise.
