Thanks Rad400.

This weekend I plan on finishing the tear down.  I got underneath the car last night and it really looks clean...maybe  a quick sand blast or high pressure wash...The a coat of something to seal it.

haah see what i like about my situation is a got the car before i got married and we have quite the understanding and agreement that the car is going no where and there wil be times when she will be a tad jealous of the car.

needless to say she accepted the agreement

Yep...There is some jealousy. The only thing I had prior to the wedding vows was dream of owning a Trans Am.  We have been married for ten years and then one day (when she was conveniently out of town)  I rescued her (she had been sitting for 15 years on a driveway) and brought her home.

Well...I was trailoring the car on a Saturday afternoon from South Austin up north to where I live...Sent her a text "well, I finally did it I bought a T/A"  she did not believe me until she got home that evening...all she could say was OMG! haha   By then all my buddies from the neighborhood were over under the hood and drinking beer.   She said well I guess its staying, I was like Hell yes it is staying (a little braver from the beer of course).  Mid life crisis Ha ha
