Rick,
LOL thank you for correcting me!

Remember I also have another trunk lid, the strip that goes behind the trunk lid, shaker scoop, and a hood, and of course the Qjet that Brian sent me, that is at the shop and those will be repainted.  The Qjet is home and will be put on when she is done along with the new hood and shaker.

That's a pretty solid car.  I think you got lucky.

One thing that's bad is where the trunk skin wraps around the trunk hood frame.  Mine is the same way.  Let me know how they address that if at all.

So far it seem to be solid, but I do need a rear driver side quarter panel.  They can't save it.  The rest looks pretty good, but we won't know till the body work actually starts.  The paint job that is on it now, probably has some hidden secrets under it. lol

Yeah, I'm not too sure if we have to do the inner wheel fenders.  I think it is all surface rust.  Nothing major.  Though we are replacing the all the suspension parts in the front end.  Not too sure on the motor mounts condition yet.  But, while it is apart and easy to get to.............might as well change out what needs to be changed out!

How's the cooling fins on the radiator they look a little rusted and rotted out.
It should look pretty sweet when done.

Just remember... Even to make the prettiest faceted diamond you have to discard some of the stone.  Looks like a very well thought out plan Frank is doing. Great to see father and son doing it together as well... makes for memberable times.

Good progress Heidi!

If I might make a suggestion....powder coat the inner fenders. It's tougher than automotive paint so it can withstand the abuse that the front tires are going to throw at it. You can get it in several different finishes from flat to gloss.
