November 2010 Spotlight of Johnathan & Scotti Kenison's 76 VSE Trans Am

This Spotlight honors a husband and wife team that has been on this forum since its start. Their car has been a project that has gone untouched for a long time due to kids, family, work, well you know .......The things that just sometimes get in the way of life. However, Johnathan and Scotti Kenison, or known here as JonnyScotti, was able to make the trip to the Trans Am Nationals this year and meet most of our gang. Needless to say that seeing us may have been an inspiration as their project is coming along nicely since August and we hope the progress will continue.
Johnathan got the chance to meet Herb Adams at the Trans Am Nationals. Herb was impressed with Jonathan that he vowed to stay in touch with the Kenison family as they have one of his VSE cars. Scotti has been on this forum for so long most here consider her family and it was even more prevalent when she called on the phone stating they had just got in to the Dayton Airport for the Trans Am Nationals. We quickly sent two courtesy Trans Am's to go pick them up (Special thanks to Eroc022 and lomileta as they volunteered to go get them....
FAST!!
).
Johnathan and Scotti are both exceptional people. They both fit right in with the group like a glove at the Nationals. It was an honor to finally meet these two individuals and even more of an honor Spotlighting their progress of their VSE project.
Without further delay here's there car.......and there wonderful progress.
Here's where it started. Before dis-assembly
Disassembly started................
Gotta love cute little helpers
Johnathan made these himself.......A very resourceful guy.
Now she's CLEAN!!!
Here comes the PAINT!
The current state.....and I am sure not the last.
If you want to watch the progress of this car just go here:

Congratulations to Johnathan and Scotti on doing some great work and for being just great people too.

Ya'll are making some great progress and should have a very sharp-looking VSE T/A when you get finished.

Congradulations guys... that is one sweet ride. good to see another T/A being put back to its glory days. Having a spouse that also shares the admiration for these cars is a gift in its own....
PS... really dig the 4 speed option there too
