Any ideas

Ok replaced oil pan on my 79 tata with the 400 4 speed. Had to jake up engine and now the work is done my clutch won't engage. It very tight. What went wrong fork is going threw bearing. And doesn't seem bound up

hey Teri, is the fork through the bearing slot, or on wrong side of it? did the fork slide out the side of the bell housing and binding on the bell, try isconnecting the linkage and see if you can engage or if the fork is binding, probably simple

After messing with it it seems better. We will see when the exhaust goes on and on the rd. thanks

not sure what it was. after trying to moving the "snapped in piece" on the fork and messing around with the fork it was moving. maybe it was hung up even thou when disconnected it moved fine.  At least it moves. Should be done today and on the road tomorrow. Can't wait, got spring fever.lol
