Hello Everyone
« on: July 26, 2012, 04:50:25 PM »
Just signed up to the site today so thought i'd introduce myself.

Miami, FL resident with a 77' formula

Car was passed down to me from my uncle who lives in cali. He bought the car over on the west side back in 1977. Could not give it the TLC she deserved so keys and title were handed to me.

When i got her she looked like this:

Didn't run but after installing a new battery, spark plugs, dizzy, wires she came to life.

Eventually i took the engine apart gave her new push rods, lifters, valley pan, new manifold, rebuilt the Q-Jet, polished the rims and a fresh coat of paint

Currently restoring a set of 15x7 snowflakes and purchasing interior parts.

Well nice to meet everyone in advance and hope to share info with you all as well as learn from you!

Is it black or blue? In the pic it looks like it could be either one. I do see a blue interior

The color is Nautilus Blue...i believe GM color code 29.

Yes the interior is blue but well faded because of the sun. Currently looking to just convert the whole interior to black.

That's cool. Hey instead of a black interior, how about a white one? It would go great with the blue and would also stay cooler in the heat. Plus you don't see a lot of them
