Unidentified Carb Hoses/Connections. HELP!
« on: April 12, 2020, 06:56:58 PM »
Hey guys,

Just bought a 1975 Trans am. I want to rebuild the carb, but before I do, I need to know what all the hoses and electrical connections that aren't hooked up right now mean. Could yall please me out? I attached some pictures below.

Firstly, get a workshop manual. They are invaluable to everything to work on your car. Secondly, if no longer intact, get a radiator support emissions decal that shows all those lines and how to set up the tuning of the carb.

Check your email for a PDF I couldn't attach.

looks like a computer controlled carb from an 80 or 81.  The vacuum line off the back probably goes to the Vacuum brake booster. You won't know for sure unless you take AUS78's advice. Ollks like the wrong carb. What is the number on it?
