Well, here we are in the Month of May and most of us up North are getting ready and pulling our cars out of storage to get ready for this years Summer cruising Season.  What better way to kick it off than to spotlight a truely amazing 1977 Special Edition 4-Speed Trans Am owned by S76GUY.  Here is a prime example of what a 1977 Special Edition car should look like.

Just to give you a little bit of History on this car, it was rescued from certain crusher material and brought back to life.  The car under went a full frame off restoration from the ground up.  It tooks month to perfom the work, but the detail in the end really shows off what these cars were meant to look like.

Just look at this reflection.....

He is a little video that was done for Tony highlighting the car and Restoration:

But it didn't stop there.  The dedication that Tony has put into this car has been astounding.  The attention to all the little details, the "Going the Extra Mile" has been done with this car and he still isn't done yet.  Tony has gone over every square inch of this car and has spent countless amount of hours (much more than he spends here on the Forum) researching the car and the History to make sure he gets every little detail right.  To say that he is meticulous would not be the correct term.... I would say that he has a passion for excellence.  And it isn't only his prized possesion of the 1977 Trans Am....... take a look at his work with helicopters.  Not only the real life ones, but the radio controlled versions as well.  Tony takes pride in anythine and everything that he does.  We can all see his dedication by just taking a look at his beautiful Trans Am.

The detail in this car really makes it stand out from the rest.  And Tony is not one of those guys who takes it somewhere to get it done for him.... he is right there making all the details right..... making it exactly how he wants it.

He has made a nice home for the car and I think sometimes that he car sleeps better than he does......

So, Hats off to you Tony for having one of the finest examples of a 1977 Special Edition Trans Am that we have seen come this way in a long time.  And when you get a chance to meet him at this years Trans Am Nationals, you will find that he is also one of the freindliest persons you will meet in this little corner of the Trans Am World.

Tony and I have talked, and his attention to the tiniest details is simply amazing.  All I can say is that we're going to be in for quite a treat this year at the Nationals! ;)

Congratulations, Tony -- both for making the Spotlight AND for having such a great car.  Brett proves once again that he makes great picks! :) :) :)

Not trying to be an a$$, but concerned, on the detail part, are you going to get the correct metal center caps with the red bird for the wheels??
