1st attempt for my custom hood bird. It's done w/SEM cooperhead pearl and a Candy Orange so it flips from bright to a deep orange at different angles

New headlights installed. Headlights were for 88-98 Chevy/GMC truck. Little tricky to mount but worth the effort. Since I have a fiberglass nose from VFN I had to fabricate mounts to bolt directly to the core support. $6 bucks worth of flat stock/6 hours

This angle shows the gap between the inner headlight and the grill. I am considering cutting the diamond section out and flushing it with the headlight to make it look more factory looking.

Closeup showes gap around the headlight and grill. Once everyhting is painted and the area behind the light is blacked out I'll see how it looks. I might try to make a filler panel then.
