Stay tuned because over the next few weeks the entire website will undergo a major transformation! The website is being redesigned from the ground up with all new features and also will be now "Mobile Friendly" and be able to be easily viewed on any device.

Come visit the NEW 78ta.com Store !

New for 2016 ! Ok, I have upgraded the store and made it "Mobile Friendly" (since 46% of my visitor's are on mobile devices). You can now view the storew on just about any device. I also did the upgrade to make sure I was PCI compliant and that all transactions are secure. There are also some new functions liek intergration with Social Media and new checkout features. You can pay with Credit Card or PayPal just like the old store, but now you can also use your Amazon account to log in and purchase products. So it is a new layout and design with new features. Make sure you check it out. For all of those who were registered in my old store, sorry to say I did not migrate customers due to security reasons. You can re-register at the store, or check out as a guest.

This is my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. I am trying to gather as much information as I can about mostly the second generation Trans Am's but I will also try to have some information regarding first generation, second generation, third generation and also fourth generation cars as well. Now since I own a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am, then most of this site will cover that year and mostly the second generation Pontiac Trans Am. I will also try to cover information regarding any Firebird, Formula, Macho Trans Am, Trans Am, and/or any Firehawks. There is alot of information located in the Trans Am Info section. Well, I finally did it... I redesigned the entire site. It has been the same for the past 8 years so I decided it was time for a change..... I hope you like the new looks. Now, not only have I changed the look of the website, I am also starting to add different pages with even more information about the Pontiac Trans Am. There is a lot of information spread out over this entire site. There is the navigation bar on the left that takes you to the main areas on the site. You can also view the Site Map to see most of the pages on the site. Some of the new pages are under construction, but I will be adding more over the coming months. You can also go check out and register for the Trans Am Forum located here: Forum There are over 2,300 members there now and is also a great place for information and to talk with other Trans Am owners. Also check out the Monthly newsletter here: Monthly Newsletter In addition to the Information Sections above, I also have an area dedicated to the Special Edition Trans Am's, which has information regarding the 1976 50th Anniversary Trans Am, Gold Special Edition, Macho Trans Am, the 10th Anniversary Trans Am, Redbird and Skybird Edition cars. I have had so many people ask me about the Bandit Edition Trans Am so I posted up a page about that as well. I also of course have the Parts for Sale section. I have 15x7 and 15x8 Snowflake rims up there for sale as well as a great Officially Licensed GM Pontiac Parts CD for all Pontiac Firebirds and Trans Ams from 1967 to 1981 AND I also have the 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, and 1981 Pontiac Service Manuals on CD and Fisher Body Manuals on CD. This is a must if you are in the restoration process of your car or even as just a handy reference chart if you need to replace a part. There is also a huge section now dedicated to Decals (direct from Phoenix Graphix), Interior Parts, Misc. Items, and More. Well, we are now in 2008 and as you know, I also had a Trans Am Sales, Restoration, and Service company called Trans Am Specialties which took up alot of my time. I have not really worked on my Trans Am at all over the past few years so the restoration pages section has been a little stagnant for the past few years. I have been so busy restoring other cars that I have not had time for mine. Go check out the "Restoration" page and see what I completed on my car in the previous years.

Ever since I was younger, I have always wanted to own a Trans Am. I guess I watched "Smokey and the Bandit" one too many times. When I got out of high school, I bought my first 1977 Trans Am for $3,000. Three years and four engines later, I sold it. Ever since then I have always wanted another one. I started to search the Internet for the right one and came across this beauty. The car only has 64,200 original miles on it. The car does need a little minor work that I am slowly completing over time, but overall it is in great shape. I don't plan on getting rid of this one any time soon. If you have any suggestions or comments, please go to the Feedback Page to submit any comments. Also, in my Photo Album area you can send me a picture of your ride and I will post it. My Trans Am is not only known world-wide via the Internet, but it is now known world-wide via traditional print media. Check this page out for more information: Pontiac Firebird. Also, now that my car is over 25 years old, it comes with some extra benefits, check out this page for more information: Click Here
