2002 Trans Am Nationals
Well, I just got back from the 2002 Trans Am Nationals in Vandalia, Ohio for my first time attending the show. If you have a Trans Am, Firebird, Firehawk, or any Pontiac F-body, then you must put this on your list of things to do. It wasn't that it was some fantastic thrill ride from beginning to end, but it is the feeling of being around 500+ cars and people who feel the same way you do about your car. The Dayton Airport Inn is just jam packed with all firebird owners from 1967 to 2002 in all shapes, colors, and more. It was perfect timing for me when I got there on Saturday, I was car #500 right on the nose. Take a look at some of the cars below and see some of the strange and some of the not so strange. If you recognize any of these cars, send me an e-mail with a little information about your car so that I can update this page.

How about a Station Wagon? ("K" Series)
Pace Car Driven by Jay Leno and Tony Stewart Another Pace car .
How about a row of 10th Anniversary Trans Ams.
A couple of Special Editions
An Immaculate car with a custom bird.
Here's a Trophy winner.
Knight Rider's left and right.
This car was named the "Instigator"... I guess that fits.
1971 Trans Am 1969 Trans Am
30th Anniversary Trans Am Nice Gold Special Edition Trans Am
These were just a few of the hundreds of cars that were there. I can't put up photos to all of the cars because I don't have that much room on this page. I can tell you that this is a must to go check out. I will post up some information soon about next years show.
Here is some of the little things that you get when you go to the show. There was a whole bag full of stuff, but it was mostly catalogs, brochures, etc. But, you did get a magnetic badge, a pin, keychain, and some other misc. goodies. See the pics below.
Another cool thing was that I got there on Saturday and just happened to be car # 500 right on the nose to register for the Nationals.
