"hi, great site i would like to add my trans am to your visitors page as it is not one that i have come accross on the net anywhere!!!
it is 100% stock totally unrestored tenth anniversary t/a.
i have all the documentation for it,build sheet, owners handbook,i even have the air freight invoive for when it was flown from california to michigan to national coach engineering to have the roof conversion.i live in the uk and the convertible t/a is almost non existant here.plans are to bring it back to life.the motor is 403 auto and all the car really needs is fresh paint and interior i would like to hear from anyone who knows of any other tenth t/as which are rag tops" Graeme Annetts

" my 1976 Trans Am. I bought it for $350 and put about $5,000 into fixing it after the motor went out. About 2 years ago while driving to work, i hit a deer with it. i just patched it up for now, but I'll fix it up again when time and money permits. Also, I'm currently working on a web page to show what this car went though when i built it the first time. It had so much rust in the back quarters that i had to clip it with the back end of a '79 T/A that i bought for parts. Why stop there? I've always wanted T-tops, so i added those in too, only to find out that the donor car was a 1981 Special Edition Turbo Trans Am! Opps! So as you can see, this is truly a frankenstein car, but its my frankenstein. Who knows, after i get bored with this one, why not go back and try to restore the Turbo T/A I tore up?"

"here is a photo of 1 of my T/A's. It is a 1980 turbo and I purchased it off the original owner a couple of years ago. This car was in storage for about ten years and never saw winter driving....... The car has 36,000 on it. ..... P.S. I did have it painted a year ago since the original paint started to show it's age with slight spider web cracks."

Options: A/C, AM-FM Radio, hood decal, front and rear mats, tilt steering wheel, Soft-Ray glass, lamp group and cast aluminum wheels (YJ8). It is Starlight Black with a black vinyl interior. I am the third owner and it has 76K miles on it."
Kevin Grindle - Cumming, GA
"The white car is what I started with and stipped it and went to black! I know it is not a SE but it is as close as I will ever get. I looked for 6 months to find a good shape true SE and finally gave up and just found a good solid bodied car and made it like I wanted it. The insides are not redone yet,but will be soon. Right now they are Carmine red and I have not decided if I will leave or change to Black. I want black but red looks ok and a little different, plus my dash and door panels are pefect!"
"My 15x8 snowflake wheels I restored, I am especially proud of these and used alot of your tips!"

"Heres a couple of pics of my 1981 Turbo Trans Am Special Edition Bandit. Confirmed a SE by Pontiac Historic Services. It is a hard-top, making it 1 of 65. It is all original, including paint and decals, except for the right fender (which was taken off another 81 TA), the carpet, a rebuilt turbo-charger, and the 8-track radio(which came out of another TA). The mileage reads 61,000, but the true mileage is unknown."
