"Here is Joe DiCicco's treasure, a 78' Formula, (25 years old) Black & Gold Edition, survivor car, 400/4bbl. I chose this car because I had one back in high school & I also take pride in having a rare car that you don’t see that often. You have to understand after I turned 40 (mid life crisis) I was on a mission to find that exact car. After a 3 year search, last year I found one on EBAY. A Georgia car, documented with every time they washed the car, waxed the car, all maintenance records, etc... The car is everything I ever wanted, however, my first Formula will always be in the back of my mind. Nice site Hitman, thanks for including us rare Formula's."
"Hi over there.
I`m Janne from Sweden.
I found your site today, and think it`s very nice and good.
Send you a pic of my 71 Trans Am.
The bird has match nimber on engine and rear, but the gearbox is swapped.
Engine is std bore HO 455 with cleaned up 6X heads, HO intake, RAIV cam and a 800Holley dp spreadbore.
Gearbox is a M21 and the rear std 10b 3,42 with posi.
The car is running great, and the plans for it is to be repainted in withe with blue stripes as it was from the beginning.
Hope this one could take a place at your visitors site.
Have a real nice day, and "let the puppy fly."

"Here is a picture of my 1977 Trans AM Bandit SE. I purchased it from "Chip" down in Louisiana last fall 2002. Chip did a complete restoration all matching documented numbers. The interior apolstry was completely redone with the original apolstry from 1977 found in Pontiac Michigan on the original roll. The engine is a Pontiac 400 ci 6.6 Litre. 4 Speed Manual Hurst Shifter. Hurst T-Tops.
The engine was completely re-built and a Comp Cam was used and a dyno was performed with a 350 HP reading at 5500 RPM. I was working at the indoor theater when Smokey and the Bandit came out. I must have seen that movie 50 times or more. I've always wanted a 1977 Trans AM Bandit SE. I finally have one now. The original buyer of this car was in Minnesota and then it went to Oklahoma, to Louisiana, and now it is back in Minnesota. The picture is composited with images I took when I was in Louisiana looking at the car before purchasing it. I had the TA shipped to my house via DAS in an inclosed semi."

I have another Trans AM also. Here is some info on it. We bought it from my wife's mother and step dad.
It's a 1983 Recaro Special Edition Trans AM. Very close to the one used in Smokey and the Bandit Part III. It has the V8 305 Cross Fire Fuel Injection 4BBL. 50,000 actual miles. All original other than having new tires put on and the transmission re-built. Our Trans AM's never see rain or snow... We only drive them on nice overcast or sunny days...
