"This my 78 TA that I have spent the last 2 years restoring. I put over 6k in the engine alone. Itnow has over400hp in the 400 big block."
This is my 1986 Trans Am I bought it in 1992 as soon as I turned 18. It has Centerline racing wheels with BF Goodrich T/A tires, it has been upgraded to a 1970 chevy 350 with approx. 325 hp. It has T Tops and is loaded with Air, cruise, tilt, power windows, has an upgraded stereo system two 12" subwoofers & 2 amps. This is my third Trans Am, my dad gave me my first one for my 16th birhtday a brown 1978 T-top 6.6 liter. I still have the car and have never driven it on the road, still needs work. I bought a black 1979 T-top 6.6 liter that same year and enjoyed it for several years until I sold it to buy the 1986.

I bought my 1981 Turbo Trans Am last summer (04). I had always wanted a Trans Am... it's that big gorgeous bird on the hood that sets it apart from any other car I've ever seen! I knew I wanted an 81 because it was the last of the second gens and the year I got my drivers license. I saw this one on an ebay auction and just LOVED it...however I didn't have the financing quite ready, someone bid on it, the auction ended and that was that. But a couple weeks later when I had my finances in order I started shopping...an there she was again...deadbeat bidder...lucky me!!! I bought her without ever laying eyes on her...only pics...I think I lost my mind ha ha! She's got just under 15K miles and I just can't stand leaving her in the garage...so the number is growing :) I just bought some cool new floor mats with the big red & black bird on them and they look awesome! Here's a pic or two... :) Have Fun! Jerilynne
