I am onto page 25 and would like to thank everyone for sending in their photos to be posted here. If you have a Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, or any other car that you would like to post here, please E-mail me with your photo and information and I will post your car here.
Hi, here's some info about my newly bought Tenth Anniversary Trans Am. It's completely original, and unfortunately it shows on the paint. It's gonna get a paint job this spring. The car is equipped with a 403 olds and an automatic, it got power steering, brakes, windows, locks and cruise control.
I have always loved Trans Am's , since i was 2 years old, and my mom showed me Smokey and the Bandit for the first time. This is my first Trans Am to my collection, and i'm gonna add a few more to my collection one day
I puchased my 71 Firebird about 8 years ago for $500 bucks. The original 350 had a rod knock and I had a spare YC code 455 so the choice was easy to install the 455. The engine is mild and Dynoed at 528 hp. Parts include TRW pistons, 041 Crane cam, #96 heads massaged alittle with 2.11/1.77 valves, Harland Sharp 1.65 roller rockes, Offenhauser tunnel ram, twin 600 carbs, Hooker 3" exhaust, NOS 150-300 cheater system, turbo 400 trans with B&M race pack, etc...... car has run a best of 10.85 @ 128mph. It's Street legal and fun to drive!

My name is Leon Marker and live in Iowa. My 1979 Trans Am has been owned by me since 1982. It's 403/auto with the 4 wheel disc brake WS-6 package. It has been very well taken care of, and its greatest claim to fame, is getting a 2nd place trophy in 1994 at the Trans Am Nationals, the year I completed the resto.
My Spectra Red 1983 Trans Am has been in the family since 1988, and was originally a LG-4 305, but now has a 320 HP 350, hooked to the T-5 trans. It also has the WS-6 package with the stock 3:73 rear, that has been upgraded to an Auburn limited-slip, 4th gen LT1 style rear disc brakes, and 16" wheels from a 1987 Formula. I also, have replaced the seats with some out of a 1995 Formula. I repainted it in 2001.
Thanks, Hitman, for having such a nice site, with so much useful info. I plan to visit often.
Hitman attached is a photo of my '79 400 4speed W72 WS6. A very low option "factory race car" as I like to say. No A/C, pw,dl, or any stuff to slow it down. Right now it has a dismal at best Holley 600, a Torker II,a mild cam, and Hedman headers with an X pipe.
I bought it in Jan of '90 from it's 3rd owner. It needs a little body work here and there that I plan on starting in Feb. I enjoy taking it to local cars shows and fair weather driving. Thanks.

Hi Brett.
I would like to put pictures of my beloved 77 Trans Am on your visitor page on your website.
My name is Tor- Brede and i`m from Tyristrand in Norway. This is my first bird and i bought it in november 2005. I`m going to rebuilt the 400 cid 6.6 TA engine to give it some more power.Or else i`m happy to keep it original.
