This is a nice 1977 T/A that I picked up about 8 weeks ago for 42500. Although it's not a real Y81, I think it was a steal for the price! You've got a great site, hitman. Thanks for taking the time to check out my car.
Hello Hitman:
I am submitting photos of my 1973 Trans Am Super Duty 455 for your site. It's a numbers match California car: Brewster green, SD455, beige deluxe interior, automatic, A/C, 3.08 gear, with 87000 miles on it. I just had the motor/trans/suspension/front end, etc. rebuilt to stock specs in 2007. The exhaust is a Gardner 71-72 455HO type (no resonators). It was painted in 1988 in lacquer and has held up pretty well.
Thanks for the site,
Tim
Hi Brett,,,,,
Here I am with my BANDIT - a real 79 SE. I bought the car in September 2006 .... numbers matching, 2 Garaged owners, previous owned since 1984 . Rebuilt 9,000 miles ago , completely stock , am-fm-8track, 2.73 gears , only 89,000 miles...original paint ,,Runs and drives like new, PHS documented. .....If I ever get around Cleveland , I will definitely stop in... read the website every day , you do an awesome job !!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres the info on my car....It is a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Esprit with a chevrolet 350 small block. I got this car almost a year ago and payed $2000 for her. The outside is a bit rough and the engine could do with sum TLC but the interior is mint for a 30year old car. Ive added a Formula hood, new brakes and shoes, bearings, built and wired a new rear deck with speakers, new speedometer cable, flywheel cover, ECT...she starts every time and runs pretty good. hopefully soon she'll look good doin it too...Thanks to this site i have alot to look forward to. Great job Hitman! -Jake, AZ-
The 79 Bandit project is almost complete. It is now on the road, but will be getting a few more interior upgrades next winter. Chris, Duluth MN
Hey there, just bought a 77 TA. I was holding out for a 78 t-tops but this one was local and the price was ok. I've been taking care of some ticky tack trim peices since I got it, but it's a runner. It's an original 6.6 with 55k on the odo. I'm registered for my first classic car cruise in a couple of weeks and I'm stoked!

Hi there;
Thought you might like to see my 79 custom built ground up show car. She is a European edition I bought in Graffenvier Germany. I shipped her home after a few mild mods. I then had to sell her during a divorce in 95. I spent 7 years looking for her. Then in 2003 my son found the car sitting behind a used car lot. This time I took the entire vehicle apart and built it to race and show. Folks think iam crazy to race her. but whats the point of just looking at her and not driving her. The motos is a highly modofied 409 Olds 10:1 compression all race guts. 512hp 502 ftlbs tq. The transmission is a Prostreet 2004R with custom drive shaft and a pro center section rear end 8.5" with 373 gears. All suspension is Hotchkis, 4" drop on front and 2" in the rear. 4 wheel disk brake with all braided lines. Traction is all most controled with slide a link traction kit. All the interior is custom Built in my Upholstery shop ( Land-N-Sea Upholstery) All guages are Auto meter with 5 speed B&M Shifter. Line lock on shifter. . Much more to list heres a few photos of her. Hope you like her. Obsession is the name. Mike Weimer Wamego KS
