Virgil Pyatt and his 78 T/A.
"First off I bought it this past spring from a dealership who was asking 5500.00
but talked him down to 3000.00 and drove it home. ..... So here is the break-down of it.
Factory restored by the numbers.
WS6 option (6.6 T/A Pontiac w/ 4 speed)
no extras as for power options other than steering and brakes
high performance suspension from factory
(minus air shocks for ground clearance for the Flow Master exhaust)
The interior was shot, replaced everything and even rewired all instrumentation.
Installed the decals personally down to the cm.
The factory wheels were found at a tire dealer and sold them to me with centercaps included for 150.00.
This has been one fun project car to work with and I plan to hold on to it for a long time."





Wes Reeves and his 79TA
"Here is my Smokey & the Bandit TransAm. It has the original Olds 403 block, with about $7,000 in the motor alone. It puts out roughly 700 hp."








Diosdado Molina's 78 TA:
"I am going to email a picture of my car the way it
looks now and how it looked when I bought it, I am
currently rebuilding the 750HP engine in it the old
one was tired form racing, same power differrent
purpose, it's just a weekend cruiser now."

I have had it since 1996, It's my dream car... I added the 1989 Formula taillights
and rear wing."

Steve Sharp and his new aquisition.  "An old friend of mine just gave me this car. It has been sitting in his driveway for several years not doing him any good. He had it checked out recently only to find out the block had cracked one winter. I'm going to do the best I can to restore ........ It is supposed to have every option on it and + - 79,500 miles."
