Hi Guys, I'm new & this is my 2nd post(first one is in the intro/where you from thread)
Maybe someone has a lead on a 73/74 T/A in original shape somewhat near me (Calif state)
with an auto & no AC. I am really partial to admirality blue/black int 74's as that's what I
owned long ago but will consider any color. Just not having much luck looking in the usual
places. Thanks in advance!

Time for a bump... Still looking for a clean T/A as above but will now consider
70-74 INCLUDING Super Duty in "Driver" condition. I prefer AT, Non AC or Vinyl
tops. Any color OK, low options OK.

Thanks for the heads-up, Charlie. I want an Automatic transmission T/A instead of a manual Formula.
Sooner or later someone will cut one loose...

First, thanks to all for today's replies... much more helpful here than other places and
I appreciate that. In California, 1975 or older are smog exempt which is great since I
prefer 70-74 Trans Ams Wink  On the comment of time & money, I agree. In my case
I have been searching for almost a year and now have enough saved to buy a very clean non-SD
original. Still not enough for a clean or restored SD or HO. I have a search on ebay
and check almost every day. I feel maybe here is a good place to find exactly what
I want.

Time for the monthly bump! I am now considering cars out of State... should have from the start.
Just need to have a seller able to send good pics if needed and be available for inspecting the car.
Same wants as before-a very clean, original Trans Am is what I really want to buy:)

Hi G.K. Thanks for posting those links Smiley I've already seen all of them. I can spend 20-30K for the right car.
Automatic trans, NO ac or vinyl tops. Most other options would be great to have.
For example-cars linked above are either redone or projects. I want an original, unmolested car ONLY with
factory sheet metal, no rust, no aftermarket engine accessories, stereos etc. "Original" is the key.
Since I am looking for a keeper, I don't care about "fresh paint, interior, etc.
It does not have be a 10K mile car that is mint either-just be clear. In 2008, I made the mistake of buying
a car so I'd "have something" and watched a couple great T/A's slip by because I had money tied up in
this other car. I was very fortunate to find a buyer for that car and breaking even but vowed to wait for
the car I really want. Those figure above do have to include transport costs to me here in California.
