Censorship on the Forum
« on: March 25, 2007, 05:15:53 PM »
Well, there was a topic here about censoring words on the Forum.  I could see the topic was going down the wrong path so I decided to move it out of the way.  In my opinion there was going to be no winner in the debate of censorship.  Basically it comes down to this.  This Forum is an extension of my website and I try to keep it a clean friendly environment for all who come here to visit.  I am not trying to be egotistical but this is a Forum run by me and only me.  Anything I find objectionable, I will edit it or simply remove it.  Everyone had some good arguments on both sides of the story when it comes to foul language and censorship on the Internet.  But the bottom line is, I do not care what laws govern what websites and content, I do not care what famous or intellectual people made what agruments for or against foul language.  There is a time and a place for foul language and my Forum is neither the time nor the place.  Please keep this a friendly environment for all.  Thank You.
