Hi everybody! I made it here. For those who don't know me I'm Larry Benham. I'm a  TAC refugee living in Valley City ND. I used to build cars back when I lived in the DFW area under the name Larry's Custom Cars. I specialized in Oldsmobiles (and Olds powered cars and trucks), S-10s and of course 2nd gen. Trans Ams. Almost every vehicle I owned ended up with an Olds V8. So I'm a lot more versed in them than I am in Ponchos.

Guess I missed this thread before I started posting.

I am Gordon Mott... I don't have any cool car background or anything... actually I'm just a 25 year old computer nerd.  Actually, I used to have my own consulting firm...  well, I still do... just no clients.  Got tired of working for the evil corporate empires of the world and being miserable.... so now I just work on writing my own software, and restoring a 78 TA y-car I bought off of a friend to save it from going to another person who doesn't attend the First Pontiac Church of the Trans Am...  So no crazy income anymore... but I'll take a dirty workshop over a cube any day of the week. :)

Hello all, just registered. Located in Sydney, Australia. I own a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am with 400 engine...currently assembling a 455 to go in it.
Also own a 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 convertible resto project.....something for the long term hobby...lol.
I probably know a lot of posters...from TAC and the PY forums.

Hello to all the 78TA members and TAC refugees!!!!!

Just registered this week.  Long time lurker here and long time TAC member.

I am from the Pittsburgh area.  New Eagle to be exact, which is about 25 miles south-east of Pgh.  I have a 78 TA hardtop that I have striped as an SE.  It has a Pontiac 400 .040 over and an automatic.

I have loved TA's since S&TB, and it took me almost 25 years to finally get one.  I did own a 90 Formula (loved that car as well) until I got married.  Had to sell it to afford the mortgage on the house.

Thanks

tom

My name is Mike...and I love Trans Ams.

Looks like TAC going down (sts) has forced a lot of us lurkers to finally pony up and register!

I've got a 78 Trans Am that's been in the family since '85. I'm just finishing up a 3 year restoration on it. I built it to look stock, but I'm looking for low 13's/high 12's out of it.

I'm stationed in the panhandle of Fl between Pensacola and Ft Walton Beach. I'm hoping to get to meet a lot of you guys at the STARS show down here in March.
