David didn't mention that he also takes ciruitous trips around the US periodically, picking up and dropping off cars and various parts, while running his own business and working insane hours for people who are three bricks short of a load. 8)

True that,  Rick. My escapades are well known over there aren't they? How I wish I could make the same livin' working with the cars as my Tile business does. I would switch over in a heartbeat. I'm SO sick of contractors I want to barf. My latest bunch has a me in a pinch. The GC and the Flooring Company ( They'll remain unnamed) that I installed the tile for in the Condo's are fighting over money. We're does that leave me? In the middle without any money. I just pulled in my first check since Thanksgiving. Now that is just getting ridiculous. Good thing is I'm going to be booked up for the next three or four months. Now it's a mad dash to get it all done.. Like I say "my work is either feast or famine" there's no middle ground.

One day I will make it back to the NAT's. It's been three long years since I've been there. It seems that time of the year I really get busy. I plan for it every year but some job creeps it's way into my schedule that I can't turn down.

My Atlantis Blue car has become my favorite color scheme next to the TATA. The blue with blue graphics are stunning. Just wait until you see the Formula. I think the Sierra Copper paint is going to knock your socks off.

Thanks
David

Part of the TAC group, but I may stick around and try to visit both once TAC comes back... so here I go... My name is Nate Hiers, I am a Meteorology major (computer science and mathematics minors) at the University of Oklahoma... So I live in Oklahoma now, originally from Michigan... I have a 1980 Firebird Formula with a Poncho 400 between the fenders... I am trying to bring the car back to live and make it a street beast (a couple visits to the strip a year maybe) all while going to college and eventually getting married...

Greetings,

 Just got here...

My Name is Joe Richter and I grew up in Cincinnati, OH. Just a dozen
or so miles from  where the Norwood assembly plant was.

Life, jobs, and everything else has prompted a few moves here and there
and I currently reside in Ft. Worth, TX.

My first TA was a 1979/403 olds car, it was #29 Dark Blue. At the time
I bought it I had wanted a TA since the late Seventy's... Geez I loved
that car. I had bought it in Springfield, IL and had it for years. I think
it was the salt on the Chicago roads that really hurt - that and driving
the thing to death. After a spirited hail storm (read: baseball sized) I
made the mistake of deciding to sell it.

Less than 3 years later I felt the loss and began looking for another TA.

I began finding TA's every few months or so - and they were reasonable too.

Today, I too am a Trans-Am-Aholic... my current fleet includes:

 1979 10th Aniv LE TA  400-4spd
1980 Turbo Pace Car SE TA
 1980 Bandit SE TA
1981 Turbo Pace Car SE TA (recent find)
 1981 Turbo Bandit SE TA
 1981 Turbo TA
 1986 Tuned Port TA
 1990 Firebird
 1997 Ram-Air WS6 TA

 Also a TAC regular...
1979 10th Aniv 400/4spd
1980 Black SE 301NA
1980 Indy Turbo Pace 301T
1981 Turbo 301T
1981 Black SE 301T
1981 Daytona Pace 301T
