Welcome Angela, Since you dont have a TA "yet", try using some pics here and your graphic artists brush and show us what you would like to see when you do get 1.

Rick, Thank you for the welcome. The two cars that I have now are (both are a '95) Dodge Intrepids and to be honest, there are junk cars but they both get me from point A to point B. To answer your question about posting pics in the forum. Yes, I do know how to post pics in the forum.

rkellerjr, Thank you for your welcome. To answer your question about the year that appeals to me the most...I find that the 78 (I think is the year - I am not very good at knowing the year of car) appeals to me the most.

LOMILETA, thank you for your welcome. To be quite honest, I am not quite that talented in creating graphics as far as cars are concerned as well as drawing people. My drawings are usually very simple.

Thank you, Maro and LTD191, also for your welcome.

One of the reasons I joined here is because of my interest in TAs but also to learn more about them. While lurking, I found that I had enjoyed reading the posts as well as looking at the photos.

I'll let you in on the secret -- the cars are a ruse.  It's ALL about the people! ;)

You need to come on over to Dayton next year for the TA Nationals -- you'll see what I mean after just a few hours there! :)

Angela, the TA Natiionals are the weekend before Labor Day.  For 2008 that will be August 22-24.  They are held at the International Airport in Dayton -- it's right off I-70 -- very easy to get to.  Admission is free if you don't have a car -- normal registration fees aren't bad if you decide to enter a car.  This past year we had over 430 cars entered.  There is a big swap meet too.  There's always a ton of folks there and a lot of us are staying at the Dayton Drury for the weekend.  It's a chance to put faces to screen IDs you interact with all year, get to know people, and generally have a good time.  If you can't make the whole weekend, come on in for the day as your schedule permits.  We'd love to meet you! :) :)

Thank you for the info, Rick. I hope this isn't a crazy question but this is Dayton, Ohio, right? If so, I have been to Dayton, Ohio. It has been many months ago though. I still have a lot to learn about Ohio. I have written the dates down. I would love to come to the TA Nationals. I have never been so this would certainly be a wonderful experience for me! I would request all of those days off at work way in advance.

Thank you, Jeff, for your response :) I just moved from North Carolina to Ohio about three months ago. Not too far from Kent actually.
