yep i got the report the first time i looked at the car, and had cash in hand to buy it, ended up buying a 79 esprit with a 455ho motor(out of a lemans) in it for $1000, parted out the majority of the car and sold to a buddy of mine for a clone project( i kept the motor), shortly after i started having problems with my pickup and ended up sinking most of the money i had saved towards a bird into that, and litterly 3 days after i got my pickup fixed i started college so money has been in short supply since,  ive considered selling off the motor several times, but its still not enough to pay for the formula, and would hate to lose both, i dont mind not having the orignal motor but do want a factory formula car as clones bother me to no end, i dont mind a different colors or motors or even modifications to no end, but seeing base coupes and esprits badged as trans ams or formulas just makes a true one seem that less special unless u know its a clone.  so im hoping the car will still be there after i get to work this summer, my income taxes and this tax rebate which surprisnly i qualify for are going straight towards it, so well see what comes out of it.

yep thats exactly what i want, and the orignal color of the w72 im trying to get my hands on, although right now its in a not so well sprayed metalic blue.  Ive always loved yellow sports cars i think they stand out like none other and just always loved the looks of the guys at the drag strip when their wonder such and such that they spent 5 years building just got its arse handed to them by a bright yellow hot rod ;D
