« on: August 07, 2019, 12:17:28 AM »
i am trying to find the bolts, nuts, and washers that mount the crossmember to the FRAME of the car. the car is a 78 TA 400 4 speed borg warner super t-10 does anyone know the size and length of the 4 bolts that mount the crossmember? i am also confused on how the adapter plate mounts to the crossmember. if anyone has any pics or info would be awesome. thanks!

The bolts for the crossmember are roughly 3/8"UNC x 1" long, with matching nuts. Adaptor plate? Do you mean the trans mount?

it's an adaptor plate for the cat convertor. If you no longer have factory exhaust or stock cat, leave them off.

Now you know those sites are incorrect. I have never, ever seen them referred to as that.
