exhaust manifold installation

i have a 78 TA W72 400 4 speed. i am getting ready to drop the engine in the car and i am installing a set of ram air 3 manifolds. should i install the manifolds on the engine before installing the engine? or should i install the manifolds once the engine is in? just curious what everyone else has done with theirs. any help would be great

Much easier to do while the engine is out of the car

Make sure Ram air sent you the correct ones.   They suck.
