Special Edition decals
« on: May 07, 2020, 02:04:21 AM »
Hello,

I am new to the forum.  I have a 1977 with a 400 and a 1978 with a 403.  I am currently having the 1977 repainted and I would like to make the exterior look like a special edition car.  The car is a hardtop and the special edition decal kits are for T-Top cars.  I am not sure if I can use one of these kits and just not use the decals that are for going around the T-Tops?  Or, are the T-top decals integrated with the stripes around the doors?  Also, where is the best place to get quality decals?  Thanks for the help and I am very glad I found the forum.

I am currently reupholstering seats in both cars.  The 1977 has standard black seats and the 1978 has deluxe carmine (red).

Most SE had T-tops, but there were some with hardtop. Regardless, the decals don't change, it just runs along the roof edge instead of T-tops, likewise the centre roof stripes were gapped to suit T-top on that model or didn't matter. If custom anyway, doesn't matter. You can get molded decals but also a roll of stripe.

You can get a better price form Hit Man or SecondGenGraveyard on Facebook.  I got min from the Hit man. Cheaper than going strait to Phoenixgraphix.com.
