Those gauges have been on ebay before. Some type of aftermarket thing is what the people over at TAC concluded.

I remember seeing those back in the early 80's and wanted a set for my 79, I dont recall how much they were back then.

I think they are called Dakota Digital gauges.   My brother has a set in his 55 chevy.  It also takes special sending units to operate them.

I actually also saw these installed in a 1977 Trans Am that was done by Trans Am Specialties back in 1981.  They used these for the gauges to install.  It could be a set out of one of their cars as well.
