Topic: zipper back standard seats versus plastic panel back

I am planning on replacing the seat covers for my 78 T/A.  I have a set of zipper back seats and a set of the ones with the plastic panels on the back.  My question is "is it easier to recover one over the other?"  if i use the plastic panel ones i realize i will have to buy new panels because the old ones are shot.  Are both kinds available ?

I have the plastic back ones and they look great. I think most everyone here uses the plastic.

Last I knew, you can still get the plastic backs.  The zipper seat covers are for the Camaro's.  Both standard and deluxe style firebirds, formulas and TAs have a plastic back altough the deluxe and standard styles are differant backs.

Yeah the deluxe backs cover like the whole seat back and extend all the way down while the standards are much smaller in size.
