Phoenix Graphics quality
« on: December 12, 2010, 08:59:03 PM »
Just wondering if any one else noticed a quality difference in the graphics being put out by Phoenix Graphics. I bought a set off of HITMAN and the quality just didn't seem as good as the last set I bought from them 4 yrs ago. I didn't notice the print lines until I had it on the car because you really couldn't see them just looking at the hood bird straight on but after I put it on the hood I could see where the printer had made it's passes. There are also a few light and dark ink marks on the bird couldn't really see until on the car in the sun.

I applied a charcoal set about a year and a half ago to my car.  I believe I got them from Hitman. They are fine with no blems.

Contact PG and explain it to them.  They are good to "make it right" with their customers.

If ya bought the kit from a secondary company Year One, NPD, Hitman etc talk to YOUR SELLER, As Mike said they stand behind the products they produce (Better then any company in the industry) but at the same time it is up to the end retailer to make it right by going to the producer with the issue not the end client.

If you buy a new Ford, you dont call the corperate office of Fold with a squeaking issue you speak to your dealership you bought it from and they handle it.

Ok so your saying that I should have contacted HITMAN about it before I contacted PG? I sent photos a few days ago have yet to hear anything back yet.

Yeah like stated above when buying parts for your car you are always best off to contact the actual SELLER of the product and not the producer directly.

This is for a few reasons:
1. The producer of the product of course will not have your information, billing or invoice info.
2. The issue maybe something the SELLER or distributor can remedy in house.

I just don't want to rip the bird off just yet incase they want more pics. but then again I don't want to leave it on to long for fear of leaving an outline that might be hard to get off the paint. The paints not that old and the bird has only been on for about a month.
