1978 trans am doors stuck

so I recently bought a 78 trans am sight unseen, however, when I received the vehicle the exterior door handles were broken and I couldn't get inside. the key is in the ignition and both doors are unlocked but I don't know how I can get in

The door handles operate by pushing down on a lever on the latch. Find a pic of a door with trim off for info, might be able to use a rod or similar to push onto it. If the doors are locked you have a new set of problems and hopefully who you bought it from has the answers.

Straighten out a metal coat hanger and slide it between the door glass and the rubber gasket. Hook the inside handle with the coat hanger hook and pull towards the back of the car. It should pull enough to open the door. (unless there is some other problem with the door internals.)
