Topic: Replacing Old Decals

How tough is it to swap out decals? 
Any lessons learned or advise would be appreciated.
Are there resources that describe the process for removal of old decals and the process for reapplying the new?
Can this even be done without hurting the paint?

Condition of paint can be a factor. Use a heat gun to soften the decal first and pull back on itself rather than up or it'll likely take flakes of paint with it. You will likely have to buff and polish the paint below and a good chance to do it thoroughly without decals. New decals may not line up perfectly with old fade outlines.

Using a hair dryer and fishing line is the easiest way I've found.
