!979 TA fender badge?

I purchased a 79 10th anniversary TA that was started at a restoration about 18 years ago. I completed the restoration 15 years ago but have a pair of what I think are fender badges but have never been able to see them on another 10th anniversary. Does any one have any info? I have included a picture.

RENOVATIONS:
Those are pretty cool looking but not factory.
Maybe a dealer install when new?
