For those who try to speak in french, you can write in english, i have to understand you, i'm on american board, and i think i'll understand more easyly your correct english than french's google translation  ;)

For the Trans Am in France, there are a lot of Trans Am in differents shape, i bought the one i show you a long way from my home, and i bought another 79 t/a for parts at 15 minutes from my home ! :p

The one i bought recently  for parts :

Not bad when we look at it from a far distance

Not when we look closer

Mine didn't have any rust on body ;)

Else, here are some French Trans Am, very beautiful ...

And others which are definitively dead ... :/

This is my old roof :

My dad nearly finished it :

He has to finish the holes for the roof light and for the conductor and passenger mirror

I guess I just never really thought about how many Trans Ams were in diffrent countries, such as France. Very cool though! I agree, I believe that white one is the worst I've seen also.

I wouldnt pay 300 USD, even to part the car out you would have a tough time coming up ontop.

Could someone told me the dimension of this part in red please ?

We make a repro, but we don't have the real exact dimensions.

Thanks ;)

Yeah, I can look tomorrow and find out the dimensions of it. I just recently put a new one on my shifter.

The shifter slider (the piece you were asking about) is 30.5 cm long and 3.6 cm wide.

Just one more question, where is exactly located the hole for the shifter ?
In the middle of the 3,6cm ? or not ?
In the middle of the 30,5cm ? or not ?
It seems to be in the middle in wider and longer, but i prefer to ask ;)

Thanks ;)

Some news :

On january, i received some parts from fbodywarehouse

T-top weather seal :

and some other parts for my t-top.

This month, that was from rockauto, the wiper motor and oil filter

At the begin of the month, i took the car to the garage, by the road, without any problem ( the exhaust touch the road on the bump ... :D )

I made some pictures this week end :

I love it !

nice looking TA you have.

Your dad seems quite handy, nice to have that resource at hand

Tres bien, Jean-Phi!

Sorry, that's about the extent of my French. I lived in Paris for two years. But the Trans Am is looking fantastic! Keep us updated!
