Title: Under hood bracing adhesive
Post by: VandykeT/A on March 29, 2020, 08:13:00 PM
My 80s shaker hood is in great shape other than the bracing has separated from the hood. It looks like some kind of foam. What is the correct way to reattach it. Thanks

I had the same issue on a '76 hood and used "Surethane" (though there are lots of similar adhesives you could use).

I applied it with a caulking gun in large globs like the factory and it worked great!

Had the same problem and I used Eastwood seam sealer.
