sealing shaker scopp to hood

Has anybody ever sealed the shaker scoop to there hood? if so what did you use and how did you do it?

Are you referring to permanently mounting the shaker to the hood? Or mounting the seal to the shaker assembly?


If its the first, well that's a bit of blasphemy around these parts. Some have been known to use bolts but that will damage the hood in that you'll have to drill some holes.

If its the second then you can use some 3M weatherstripping adhesive in black.
