How do I find out if my Hurst weatherstrips are 1st design or 2nd design?

Thanks. Though I read it over and over again, I simply dont get the difference. I will take som pictures of my hurst, and weatherstrip - maybe that can give you all an idea. I need to be certaint, becourse its very expensive to order to Denmark. So I have to be right the first time. :)

Metro brand are the best fit and price....they are available through some auto parts stores as well as the big parts companies. Yes, if you could post up a pic of the interior side of one of your t-top glasses and any interior shots of the roof/rails/etc....that would help alot. :)

Basically, the first design, the weatherstrip holds up the headliner.  The second design, there is a peice of plastic trim on the inside that holds the headliner up.  So, if you have the first design, your headliner inside will look like this:

If you have the second design, your inside will have this peice of trim around the inside of the t-top holding up the headliner:

I bought a pair of Hurst T-top weatherstrips back in 1985....First design....I paid $188.00 for each side....I left them in the original package and box they shipped them in....I haven't seen them in a while and if I can find them, and they're in good shape, I be glad to let them go for a good price.  It'd be a miracle just to find them.      ;D

Okay, it took me some time to get the pictures, the weather have been rainy the last few weeks. Here are some pictures, I hope you guys can help me determin if its first or secon design. I can help by saying there is no plastic trim to hold up the weatherstrip, its only the weatherstrip itself.

No problem :) ...glad to have helped.
It's harder to tell if the car is stripped of seals (like mine is currently  :-X) but with them still in the car, it's easy to tell. As Brett pointed out, 1st design uses the seals to hold up the headliner whereas 2nd design have plastic trim to do this.
